At East Side Pet Ranch, every dog has his or her day - every day. Daily puppy round-ups start at 7:00 am for an action-packed day of supervised play, socialization, and exercise.

When the humans are away, the cats will play - at East Side Pet Ranch. Our spacious and comforting cattery gives your feline friend privacy, a space to play, and one-on-one interaction with our trained staff, ensuring your cat gets plenty of TLC while you're away.

Located over 7 acres in East Austin, we've got lots of space for your pup to roam. All stays include several hours of outdoor time, with daily supervised play sessions in our dog park and options for higher-intensity one-on-one play with our staff.
Our state-of-the-art suites have been built from the ground-up to ensure a sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment for your pet.

What’s a Typical Day Like at the Ranch?
When you have to leave your furry friend behind, we've got you covered.
Every guest receives personalized care, hours of supervised play, and quality time spent relaxing in one of our luxury kennels. Our goal is to keep dogs outdoors and active for as much time as possible. On rainy and high heat days, we're able to make use of our spacious indoor playroom to keep the good times rolling.
Reservations required for first-time guests, recommended for returning guests.
All guests require current proof of vaccines for Rabies, Distemper and Parvo, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza. We reserve the right to charge up to 50% of boarding cost (up to a maximum of $50) for reservations cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.

We require current proof of the following vaccines before we can confirm your stay at the ranch:
Rabies
Distemper/Parvo
Bordetella
Canine Influenza
Any guests arriving without current vaccination records will be turned away.

All first-time guests are required to come in for a $30 daycare evaluation day ($35 for a non social evaluation) before their first stay.
In order to insure that every dog in our care gets the most enjoyment out of playtime, we first assess each dog's temperament and personality to insure that dogs are paired with compatible playmates.
This helps insure a safe and fun social occasion for everyone, and all guests are evaluated by our team before being introduced to a playgroup. Dogs unable to participate in group play may be accommodated on a case by case basis pending availability and may require an additional fee for one-on-one play sessions with a pet care professional.

At East Side Pet Ranch, we strive to make your dog feel right at home. We can insure that your pet maintains their usual diet, administer any needed medication, help manage any potential sources of anxiety, and accommodate almost any need. Please make sure to advise us of any special care instructions we will need to be aware of in order to insure your animal's wellbeing.

We reserve the right to charge up to 50% of boarding cost (up to a maximum of $50) for reservations cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.

Additional dogs able to stay in the same run will be boarded overnight at 50% of the normal rate (normal boarding rate still applies to first dog).

All dogs over 18 months of age must be spayed or neutered.

Our Husky loves it here!! I can not say enough good things about this place. Our pup comes home and just sleeps after a full day of play here! He gets so excited on days when we pull up to the building. He is less anxious around other dogs and has calmed down a lot since going to doggy day care.

Our professional pet groomers have years of experience and can accomodate all shapes, sizes, and coats - from poodle cuts to pedicures, and more!
Treat your pup to a spa day with a special package deal, or else select one of our a la carte services. Speciality baths, breed cuts, de-shedding treatments, spa treatments, ear cleanings, and gland expression are also available.

Meet Our Grooming Professionals:
Shelby Cantu
Shelby has been grooming professionaly since 2013, when she graduated from Texas State with a degree in anthropology & photography.
In addition to her academic credentials, Shelby has completed the American Kennel Club's Dog Language 101 & 201 courses, holds a S.A.F.E. certification from the American Kennel Club, and is a member of the National Dog Grooming Association of America. She is also certified in canine CPR, first aid, and care - your pup is definitely in good hands with Shelby!
